Waverley Beach
This is a favorite beach when we are in south Taranaki.
A closer look at the wall reveals that limpets have made round holes in it.
Even closer inspection shows the snails that have taken up residence inside the holes.

Rotorua Government Gardens
I love the architecture of this building!
When we were there in 2006, the gardens looked like this:
Sadly, last April, most of the lovely flowerbeds had been turned to grass.

Te Rewa Rewa Bridge
This is the latest completed portion of a walkway that links the town of New Plymouth with the suburb of Bell Block. It is a whale skeleton or a wave, whichever you prefer. Click here for a map of the current walkway.
This is the view as you walk from Bell Block to New Plymouth. I'm glad they though ahead enough to have a wonderful view of Mt. Taranaki at the end of the bridge.
