We took the 5-tunnel rail tour last week and saw some wonderful scenery that
you wouldn't see from the highway. Here is some and there will be more later!
This is inside the longest tunnel (1.5k or .9 miles) we went through. The arch on the left is the largest of many openings where the workers could step out of the way of the trains.

Oh, those tunnels are fantastic! A dark mysterious hide-out amid the rolling green hills!
Oh, I so love these....I would love to see New Zealand...my niece came there a few months ago. I know she enjoyed her trip.
What a unique idea! We would love to experience something like that! Even on a “regular” passenger train, you see scenery that you never do from the highway. This obviously was way more than that and more fun too!
