shadowy cliffside

As beautiful as this cliffside is so see, it is easily washed away by the tide. Actually, most of the seaside places we visit in Taranaki have warning signs that the cliffs are prone to crumble. When I took this photo, I was wondering how long it would be before that house would have to be moved.

A precarious perch! Not the sort of property to buy as a long-term investment.

It look a little bit dangerous to live there.

Yup, that looks like honeycomb beneath! Wonder how much has been lost since the house was first built?.. YAM xx

Interesting shot. Whole villages have been lost on the east coast for Britain due to erosion. People have lost everything.

I don't think I'd want to live that close to a crumbling cliff!

I'm sure the view is incredible but I wouldn't want to live there!

Such a fragile scene. Reminds me of the cliffs by the Pacific in Oregon.

The cliffs are pretty to look at. Don't think I'd want to be perched atop.

Yeah, it's just a matter of time when that house has to be moved. I have seen houses in my country moved to the innerland as the ocean slowly eats up the land area.
