The building has an interesting history but looks as though it needs a little work if it's going to continue to tell its tale to succeeding generations. Forgotten World Highway???
I owned Douglas House 40 or so years ago for 3 years. it was a real adventure that I will never forget. The Needham's visited and were so thrilled to see it lived in. That house could tell some stories for sure.

This building sure has known a variety of residents. Interesting story. It has character. Thanks for linking in.
I bet this place could really tell the stories if it could talk.
What a history!

Makes you wonder about the stories of those who once lived in it.
Rich in history.

Hopefully it will be well taken care of now that it's a heritage site.
Nice find for rubbish Tuesday!
Each room has its own story and many stories.
I love the history here. These old places link us all together in many ways.
