quirky business

I'm pretty sure you won't see something like this in the city!

I never thought much about coffins, but this builder who is on welfare the dole is ambitious enough to try to start a business. Strange but admirable. I'm not sure this would be allowed in the States--too many regulations.

HI Betty It is good that he is willing to show he can work. Not too sure whether I would like to see a coffin on the side of a road. someone might think someone is inside it!!!!

amazing promotion. I think it wouldn't been allowed in Germany too.

I know a man who built a coffin for a family member. It was allowed. That was in Washington State.

What a way to advertise!

That's a good way to get off the dole.

Now that's true initiative, isn't it? I can't help wondering where one might store a coffin if one wanted to be ready for a time of need...lol.

Strange business but someone has to do it.

I don't think it would keep the worms out but I like it better than those metal monsters funeral homes push onto you. Thanks for visiting my newly opened cafe/store signs.

I have never seen this here in the Netherlands either.

Wonder how many 'takers' there are?!

Interesting post!

Well, that's certainly a different kind of roadside advertisement! Good for him to try to earn his own way though!

I might say people are dying to get his product, but that would just be wrong. Most unusual find along the road. He might also make other kinds of furniture and expand his product lines. Good for him.

Well that does "take the cake" as for unusual photo finds.
