I remember seeing several memorials when we visited New Zealand. They give a snapshot of history.

This is a nice view of your world. I didn't knew that Polish children (I suppose Jewish) found a home in New-Zealand.

I had no idea New Zealand had taken in more than 700 children in 1944. I'm glad there's a memorial to help to tell us.

I never knew New Zealand took in Polish children during WWII. The memorial to the missionaries is very interesting too.
