Interesting memorial.Sydney - City and Suburbs
Very interesting :)
What a wonderful history!
Thank You the people of New Zealand for taking care of those kids. Koala from Poland
I remember seeing several memorials when we visited New Zealand. They give a snapshot of history.
Nice photos! Very moving.
This is a nice view of your world. I didn't knew that Polish children (I suppose Jewish) found a home in New-Zealand.
I had no idea New Zealand had taken in more than 700 children in 1944. I'm glad there's a memorial to help to tell us.
That first memorial - so moving!
Very interesting! Stopping by from BPOTW! Happy Halloween!
I never knew New Zealand took in Polish children during WWII. The memorial to the missionaries is very interesting too.
