Rainbow and WATW

With all the rain we've had lately, it's nice to have a rainbow
now and then between the bouts of rain.

What is your world looking like this week? Link up
below and show us all!

all the colors...

I just about tripped over myself the first time I saw a full arc rainbow at the house, trying to get a great shot of it. But now, they are a common sight for me.
That doesn't mean, at all, that I don't still get excited when I see them! I still get wet trying to get the photo :)

Look what followed me home!

I was driving home today and was surprised to see this
lovely rainbow as I drove along. It's a good thing there's not
much traffic on the backroads!

I think these are perfect shots for my 2000th post!

another rainbow

I know I post a lot of rainbows but I just HAVE to go out and try to capture the whole thing when I see them because they are just so pretty! Most of the rainbow photos are two or three photos stitched together with Autostitch.

signs of promise

One day last week, I had the opportunity to shoot the rainbows over in the next paddock from my back yard garden. I am always amazed at the beauty of rainbows, no matter how many times I see them. I guess the Biblical promise that they represent is comforting.

The next two are the same photo with the hue changed. I thought it was interesting how much our eyes can't see.

Happy sky

Happy birthday, Hubby! The sky is smiling for you.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom and stepmoms.

rainbow view in my back yard

We are finally moved in and I saw this out my kitchen window the first day!

Rainbow

This panorama is three shots put together with Autostich from my front doorway.

Rainbow

This is a very common sight beneath Mt Taranaki, but I never get tired of seeing it.

skywatch

I see many rainbows outside our house and I still love them all
Himalayan strawberry tree that the birds love.
