I'm not sure if I'm in the majority or minority when it comes to being in awe of the clouds on a bright, clear day, but I find clouds wonderfully artistic. Judge for yourself.

clouds
I have been fascinated with the clouds over the islands of New Zealand since the day I arrived. Hubby and the kids think I'm a bit unhinged, still taking shots of clouds after 6 years here. And when I warned them that my Bestest Friend would be the same way when she came for our wedding, they didn't believe me--but she was!
As I am reminded often, I'm not in Kansas, anymore.

why Stratford weather sucks
This picture of Mt Taranaki was taken from New Plymouth, about (35km northwest of Stratford). Note the blue skies. Stratford is under the cloud that is covering the mountain.
