Once I get out of the farmland of Taranaki, I am charmed by the historic buildings and scenes of the rest of New Zealand, especially in the South Island. These are some more of the sights that grabbed my attention while we were there. Some of the photos are just drive-by's out the car window but I hope you enjoy seeing what I saw :)

Nice shots <3
I don't know much about New Zealand. Beautiful photos. I love old architecture and those green meadows are so inviting.
Óptimas fotos.
Interessante arquitectura. O farol é magnifico e o "mundo dos potes de chá" muito engraçado.
Obrigado por partilhar.
Very nice set of photos! I like the nostalgic feeling and the colors are delightful.
old nz farm barns really are rustic and quirky - love them.
Very enjoyable group of photos, Betty. Wishing you a lovely weekend.
New Zealand I only know from television and the Internet.
I love the old barns that you show here :-)
Kind regards,
Helma
Old world charm well captured in the pics!
We would love a drive through country like this ... there must be quite a story behind 'Teapot Land'..... I enjoy 'quirky' and that stop obviously qualifies.
Nice collection - I'd like to visit Teapot Land
So many fascinating building styles. And love the old signs too.
What beautiful country!
I love 'Teapot Land'. Thanks for sharing the lovely country side. I love old barns and old building.
These are great photos! The Herbert Building has so much intriguing character to it. The historical aspect of the buildings - with all the detail - are so beautiful. A lot of the historical buildings in the downtown areas in urban areas in Minnesota (United States) have been taken down and replaced with generic skyscrapers. It's too bad. A lot of the uniqueness and charm is lost in the process. It looks like you captured it beautifully in New Zealand. Thank you for sharing a part of your world with others! It was so enjoyable to be able to "visit" another country this afternoon. :)
I like all of them, especially the first ones. Kinda nostalgic :-)
Hopw interesting to see, thank you for showing. I'd love to visit the Teapot Land :-)
I enjoyed this glimpse of New Zealand life as seen through your camera lens today, Teapotland made me smile.
