lupin decorations

From the archives. When it rains here, it's more like drizzle and the drops are quite little. This is a lupin just after a rain.

I knew those were lupine even on my small phone screen. I love how water beads on those leaves.

All those little hairy margins holding the water droplets look fantastic. Great shot!

That's always fascinated me too - the way the water droplets collect on lupin leaves.

This is a really magical photo. We have had lots of hail this week in Auckland, the opposite of little rain :)

The huge raindrops look jewel=like in this fine picture. A very attractive image.

A "gem" in more ways than one!

They look like diamonds sparkling. Drizzle sounds like Oregon (or like it used to be anyway -- it is very very dry this summer because it didn't rain like it was supposed to last winter.)

This is beautiful - I'm a sucker for droplets on plants too

I'm allergic to lupins, but your picture of that little plant with all these decorative droplets, which look like diamonds is very beautiful, dear Betty!!!
I could need also some rain drops here or a little bit of snow...
Enjoy the week and have a very good time!!!
Katrin :)
