Last week, we had some really constant windy days. Since I don't pay much attention to the news, I assumed that the wind was from a hurricane somewhere in the Pacific--that happens now and then. But, I was wrong. It was just really, really windy weather. So when we went to Hollard Gardens today, I was quite happy to see that there were still lots of bloom on the bushes and trees. The rhodos were in magnificent form.
These are magnolia buds.
