From New Plymouth to Kapiti Island

We just got back from a week away and I have soooo many photos to share with you!

This is the humongous (read 'sarcastically tiny') airport at New Plymouth. It may be the largest town in the Taranaki region, but that's about all it can boast. These are gates 1 through 7, with 4 and 5, apparently, being the most used.

No matter how you say it....

clouds and their shadows over Midhurst (I think).

The last of the North Island. The brown water is the Patea River.

Kapiti Island, a bird sanctuary off the coast of Wellington.

Great photos of the little airport at New Plymouth and the panoramic photos taken from the plane are beautiful.

It has been a while I have seen gates outside a airport terminal. It must be a small airport. The views are beautiful. Great shots. Have a happy day!
