lol, I love the spoonbills. I saw them when I visited Queensland a couple of years ago. :)
Spoonbills are always fun to see. Especially our Roseate ones.
Spoonbills are something else!
No living by any ocean, I always find your bird photos interesting and different from here.
Great shot, my friend!!!...:)jp
Wow! I have never seen white spoonbills before. Thanks for sharing this photo.
And one using his 'spoon'!
Very elegant looking birds.
A picture with a lot of oxygen! A real pleasure!
Happy WW and thank you for the linking!
New to me bird. Interesting.
I just realized that all this time I seem to have a single idea of what birds like these are called -just "waterfowl." Spoonbill is new to me. Thanks for the new bird vocabulary, and for hosting.
nice to see the birds doing their thing on the sea shore, Stay safe and have a good week.
Nice to see these white feathered birds and their unique spoonbills. Have a great week.
I've never seen these birds before! Fascinating!
Happy Wednesday, Betty!
Here we have something in common, and it's probably not the only thing. The spoonbills also lives in Romania, in the Danube Delta. They are rare birds, protected by law.
Have a fine day, dear Betty!
Wow you caught them in action and I love spoon bills.
See you in my neck of woods this #WW, dear Betty:

They are beautiful birds with strange bills looking for food on the beach.
Aren't they just marvellous? Spoonbills and sawfish, pelicans and puffins, swordfish and echidnas all have schnozzes fit for purpose! ;-)
PS: Thanks for hosting, Betty!
What interesting birds! I've never seen before, although the species is also found here, in the south-east! (I found out today from Zina) 😊
Have a wonderful day!
Love spoonbills! The variety here has bright pink feathers. I've seen them in certain places in Florida, but they're hard to find.
Have a great week!
I absolutely love water fowl. Lovely photo. We have an area where I live where tundra swans migrate through every fall. We just saw some last weekend and are going back this weekend with binoculars. thanks for the party.
