old fashioned rider

This bloke riding a penny-farthing bike caught my eye at 'Hay Day' a while back.

The sepia tone works so well with the subject. Always wondered how you get on and off of those things.

oh great capture, the sepia adds to the effect of an old style photo. It makes you question the cars and tractor in the background.

How does one even get On the bike, let alone ride it? Such skill! I love the tone of the foto... makes it look antique/vintage!. Thanks so much for sharing and linking up. Hope you're having a great weekend

Fun photos with this penny-farthing bicycle. If it not for the tractor, this photo could have been from late 19th Century. This bike was the reason modern two wheel bikes were called "safety" bicycles.

Great in SEPHIA. Sephis is using when you want to do something older.

Can't believe he can do this at all, let alone on this rough ground! Wonderful that he's in costume -- and beautiful and perfect in sepia tone!!

wonder how easy it is to ride, it looks quiet tricky.

This bike makes biking look dangerous. I'm sure I would break something. Awesome photo!

Very interesting!
I see there is a step just above the rear wheel, but someone would have to hold it steady while he was climbing on

He looks quite authentic in black and white and a flat cap!
