castlecliff beach - take 2

Besides the driftwood, I was amazed at the amount of pumice on the
beach, washed down from the volcano that is Mt Ruapehu, which has been erupting regularly
since 1969 with the latest events in 1995 and 1996.

I would be wanting to take the driftwood home and I have no idea what I would do with it. I like that last shot!

Love your second capture - so much going on in there, not only the driftwood but also the sun and clouds! Perfect place to go with your camera, Betty! Love it - and many thanks for sharing these stunning views with All Seasons. Have a happy week!

I always find the stones of pumice amusing. The local stores sell them. Looks like you could harvest a bit yourself.
