trees

When we are out and about, I seem to be drawn to the trees. Pine trees are everywhere (some native, some not) because they grow super fast in New Zealand. I like the lines of trees and the lone trees that stick out along the way . They are the survivors. The lessons on never giving up.

Your first pine trees look wind sweated like they had a hard time surviving their location. Lovely photos. You have a good eye.

Hello Bettyl, I too love the cragginess of lone trees - true survivors! Beautiful photographs, my favourite is the bent over wind-swept one :D)

Betty these are all unique trees and tough guys from what I can see. Each one of these is a testament to the strength of nature.

The tree in that third pic really doesn't want to give up!

I also admire the survivors -- trees and plants that do well even when they have to struggle. And their struggles have shaped these trees beautifully.

I often think "if trees could talk" what stories would they have? Yes, they are the survivors. Thank you so much for sharing this with ALL SEASONS!
Sadly last year so many trees (40 feet and up) had to be cut down in our neighborhood (one property had 28!!) because of beetle infestation!
Love the the first tree - has lost many branches, but it still stands:):)
Have a beautiful week, Betty!
