As I'm sure you can tell, I really like dahlias. They are so easy to grow and show such wondrous color. Even in this last month of autumn, they are still showing their lovely faces. I'm convinced that they will still bloom until I start seeing snow on the top of the mountain.
Of course, the blooms don't last forever, but I thin the spent blooms have their own sort of beauty.

Love dahlias... and the red macro is delightful! YAM xx
Mine are just starting off in the greenhouse. I hope they do as well as yours which look great.

You like growing them, we like seeing your shots of them, even dying ones
Wow, so beautifull!
Lovely flowers. It will be a few months more before the bloom here.
Hello, lovely blooms. The dahlia is beautiful and one of my favorites. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
I love them too and yours are so colorful; just stunning. We will see them when we're in Oregon and it is our Fall... the one seasonal change we get to see is Summer to Fall. (And I agree they are pretty in a different way as they fade).
Fabulous colours .... and beauty even in death and transformation!
I also love dahlias, they are really awesome. All mine has sadly died during the last years wet summers, they where not dry when I picked them up to store them over the winter and they rot.
Wow, the flowers in your garden are stunning (I don't know what you say in Australia: yard or garden?).
Agree with you, when flowers dry up, they have something nostalgic, and I don't want to get rid of therm right away! Many thanks for sharing your blowers and thoughts with SEASONS - and can't wait to see what you have next week! Have a happy one -this week:)
Such lovely bright colors! I love dahlias too!
Those last two photos are my favorite ones of them all. Though each are quite lovely in their own unique way.
Thank you so much for sharing with Today's Flowers. Absolutely stunning flower photos.
Wow this is beautiful indeed.
I love dahlias. They are usually the last colour in the garden at the end of autumn here.
Gorgeous!!!
