bridges

Even after almost 10 years, I find it quaint that most of the bridges that are in rural areas are still one lane--even those that are on main thoroughfares.
The bridge above is the Kawarau Suspension Bridge where bungy jumping began.

Fantastic variety of bridges in New Zealand, and great job capturing these. It baffles me too - the one lane bridges on some of the bigger roads.

Ooh, nice diversity of bridges. We have a lot of one lane bridges here in Vermont too. All the locals are used to them, but I do think it baffles the tourists.
