gulls and low tide

New Plymouth has a great walkway/bike trail along the seaside. The 11km walk covers a lot of wonderful scenery that we take a little at a time. On Sunday, we walked along a part that we hadn't been before and I got some really great low-tide shots.

This was the original swimming pool for the city.

Looks like a wonderful place to walk with the blue sky, the sea and crisp air!It is interesting to see the original pool. Did you try swimming there? New Zealand is a beautiful country. One of my good English teacher I had was from New Zea Land.I learned a lot about your country from her.
Have a happy week.

Looks like a pretty spot for a walk. Love the gull shot! I would think they find more food when the tide is low. Thanks for linking up to Saturday's Critters. Have a happy day and week ahead!

You captured some real Beaty with the low tide. The exposed plant life looks so rich and green. The original swimming pool is so interesting. A safe place to have fun with no fear of being carried out to sea or of any predators.

Gulls are pretty birds. I love the green of the seaweeds they're standing on in the first shot.

There's nothing like a walk by the seashore. Especially in the sunshine. Beautiful photos.

I could walk here, day after day, and never be bored of the same scenery or waterway. Gorgeous!

If I had a trail like that by my house, I would be out and about every day. It's so beautiful with its serene landscape. Thank you for sharing.
