We used Grace's trophy that she left in the house to see how close we could lure hawks. Now that we know it works, we will work on getting some better shots.

Nothing like killing to birds (or should that be rabbit) with one stone. Great way to lure in the Hawk and some great shots of it. I love their intense gaze.

How big is this bird? Looks pretty big. I thought such predators do not exist in NZ and that's why they have such wingless birds like Kiwis. Is that a native or an invasive species? Very lovely shots.

Love it, we have them up our way too.They are quite magnificent but my great favourite has to be the Ruru, or more pork . Do you hear those at night??
