Shells

Having never lived by the coast--in fact, Kansas is about as far from any coast as you can get in the US--I never was exposed to such beauty as sea shells or abalone  paua shells. Now, we pick up a few now and then to decorate the yard garden. Click here for some information on the paua industry in  NZ

Those shells are just like the mother of pearls. They are so beautiful. I grew up in the tropics, the Philippine Islands, and I see a lot of these.

P.S. Hi Betty, I really do not know why it said so as SPAM, and I do not know how to fix it. Maybe it is the template from Wordpress. I am sorry for this inconvenience.

I have one of those Paua shells somewhere! We lived in NZ for a year, and I remember being surprised to see paua fritters being offered in the fast food shops. The shells are gorgeous, aren't they?

Hi Betty, I am back. I deactivated the WP plug-in for spam. I hope this will solve the problem.

Do come by when you get a chance.

Thanks.
