Just looking at your photos brings back many pleasant memories of my childhood spent on beaches around New Zealand, but mostly Foxton and Himitagi beaches. I now live on Whidbey Island in Puget sound USA, so no crashing surf, which is what I miss the most.

Pretty beach, is the fishing good there? Lovely photos and thanks for sharing.
Beautiful scenery!
glorious view. can they really catch fish by the shore?:p
I think you have to live close by the ocean to know when the tide is right, but yes, we have seen fishermen pulling in their catch from shore.
Pretty!! Why this could pass for a certain spot off the coast of Old Mexico near Mazatlan. Lovely scene.

Such a beautiful beach! I loved visiting your country in December last year - so beautiful.
It has been so long since I've splashed in salt water. It reminds me of my childhood. :)

Gorgeous...I know zippo about fishing...is sticking the pole in the sand the normal way to fish when at an ocean?

Excellent shots and the colors so vibrant.
Wonderful beach! My niece was an exchange student to New Zealand and loved her time there.
That one man there, is he surfing or fishing?
I watch that Green guy from UK on fishing, and he went with some guy who used balloons to fish. Interesting, and he caught soem NZ Salmon.
Your boy scouts and their leader ready to climb the mountain?
