signs of promise

One day last week, I had the opportunity to shoot the rainbows over in the next paddock from my back yard garden. I am always amazed at the beauty of rainbows, no matter how many times I see them. I guess the Biblical promise that they represent is comforting.

The next two are the same photo with the hue changed. I thought it was interesting how much our eyes can't see.

Oh wow they are fabulous pictures. I don't think I have ever seen a rainbow in that much detail before. They always seem so optimistic don't they? Have a lovely weekend xx

Beautiful rainbow pictures. It's been a while since I've seen one. Maybe I just haven't been taking the time to look.

Have a great weekend

Your rainbows are gorgeous there is something magical you're right about a rainbow. I think it always takes me back to childhood memories of rainbow spotting.
Have a lovely weekend and may there be a crock of gold waiting for you at the end of your next rainbow!

Lovely! I love rainbows. Living in the woods with trees blocking the view, I seldom ever get to see a full rainbow so it's a treat to see yours.

Oh my gosh; I was photographing rainbows today too - as I waited at Halifax NS airport and when we landed in Glasgow ... I'd like to think they were each the other's end! had a great time, but also glad to be back 'in saddle'... YAM xx

Nicely done. Those are some of the best rainbow shots I have seen. So vivid. I love the rainbows in New Zealand. We didn't see them quite like this when we lived in the states.

Who doesn't love a rainbow? For me, they signify hope. I've only seen one rainbow where both ends are visible, and now you've captured one in a photo. Good job!
