Tupare Garden

Tupare Garden is another free, beautiful garden in Taranaki. But, it's located at the bottom of a hill, so it's difficult for me to walk up and down. This might be the last time we go there for a while.

I'm glad they warned us, but we were, apparently, not on his list!

I found some great color in the archives on this cold and rainy day
and thought I'd share with you.

Tupare Gardens

This is the entrance to the house build by the Matthews family on the grounds of Tupare Gardens. You can click here for the history of the house and some photos of the inside.
Visitors can tour the house for free.

Tupare was once a family home and garden. Today, it is cared for by the Regional Council. I love the variety of hydrangea petals and sepals.

The other flowers are just as pretty.

These were taken this week at Tupare Garden. It's a huge, free garden that is lovely, even in the fall.  Click here for their home page.

Tupare in sepia

Even thought it's getting to be winter here, there is still a lot of beauty around if you look for it. These shots were taken today at Tupare Gardens, just outside of New Plymouth.
