black swans

We stopped by Lake Mangamahoe for the first time in a long time.
It was overcast and a breeze rippled the water, making photos rather difficult.
There are lots of ducks and swans on this manmade lake.

I'm not sure what is going on with cygnets at this time of year! (It's autumn)

Those swans are so beautiful. There are some at one city here that were originally a pair given by your country, maybe a sister city…I can’t remember the exact story. But they were a joy to see.

It's lovely to see black swans! Yes it does seem like the wrong time of year for your swans to have cygnets! Ours in Scotland are just laying their eggs now!
