I imagine the sheep do a great job maintaining the course! 😄

...I see that the mowing crew is out working.

FORE! Those lambs are bound to have bruises from those golf balls. But they´ll save somebody a lot of lawn mowering.

Beautiful & serene photo.

I've heard golf described as hitting a ball in a pasture, but this really is. Do I see Shawn the Sheep out there?

I see them! What a lovely golf course :)

Nice scene. Well, they do save money on landscapers. Grass bets mowed and fertilized.

I like the four-legged "lawnmower" very much! :-)

Hi Betty,

Mostly the sheep seem unconcerned with the golfers.
Nice picture.

I would not have spotted the golfers without the heads up. How glorious!

Tell those sheep "Fore!" so they don't get hit by a gold ball drive..haha :)

Very contemplative, I love the perfect world of this sheep pasture - hopefully?

Your photo brought a smile and memories to my face. For several decades I used to lease the 147-acre paddock on which the local racecourse and golf course were situated. As a teenager, there were times I would be told that the local ladies had helped deliver a lamb during their round of golf.

Every now and then I dream that I have neglected the sheep on the Golfcourse. I am truly relieved to wake and discover it has been 20 years since I relinquished that lease.

Gosh!!! What if those golf balls hit the sheep! Ouch!!! LOL!!!

I think that sheep would be a uniquely NZ golf hazard!!

PS: sorry for long delay between visits, being in lockdown is not good for me!

Sheep on a golf course. Never seen that before. but a great way to keep the grass down. We have wild kangaroos on our local golf courses here. Stay safe and thank you again for the link up.

Nice to see the sheep grazing on the pasture. I wouldn't know they were golfers if you had not mentioned it. Oh, I hope the balls won't hit and injure any one of the sheep. I have never seen sheep on a golf course. Thank you for hosting. Have a wonderful day.

I have heard of Yoga with Goats but never Golfing with Sheep! (I don't think I'd want to do either one, but if I had to choose, I'd do the golf and sheep.) Makes a pretty and peaceful picture!

Yes, I see the golfers and the sheep. Nice.
