I took all these photos today!
I like to have reason and order in things around me,
but having flowers in winter makes absolutely no sense!
So, I have decided to just enjoy these fabulous colors--even if
they aren't logical!
Even in monochrome, they look amazing!
This is a succulent of some sort.

Have a beautiful Weekend, Elke
Lovely! Even the monochrome versions are marvelous.
That is pretty mazing for winter in NZ. They are beautiful anyway.
Poor plants, they really don't know what season it is do they? But we might as well enjoy them all the same, and your photos are gorgeous.

So pretty! Love the apricot colored rose. Enjoy the blooms.
So pretty! All that colour in midwinter must be very unusual.
Beautiful photos, poor plants are pretty confused this year.
The monochromes too stand beautifully on their own against their colourful counterparts.
So beautiful pics.
beautiful pictures of beautiful flowers
Logical or not, your flowers look colorful & fabulous!
Stunning
Betty your photos are exquisite - the rhododendrons, camellias and azaleas can all be winter flowering shrubs, but there are some there that are certainly summer flowers - you must be a in a very sheltered spot!
Stay safe

Absolutely breathtaking!! Adenium multiflorum is one I know of that flowers heavily near the winter like these...strange or magical... Enjoy your wintertime!
Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful!
Beautiful collection.
Flowers are a joy to have at any time. But is this common there? You are at at least the 2nd New Zealand blog that has had flowers in winter and I thought theirs was just an oddity, but now I wonder.
What wonderful floral bliss … lovely selection of photographs.
All the best Jan
