My Corner of the World

This lone tulip reminds me of my childhood. I don't remember ever seeing
a tulip this color, but I do remember always coloring tulips to resemble it :)

So nice to see a tulip at this time of year when we're heading rapidly downhill into autumn and winter on this side of the planet. They were always part of my childhood too and my mother always insisted on having a good show of them just outside her front door.

So lovely, is it spring there still? You must have been an advanced colorer, for me, tulips were red and that's where it ended, lol.

The words on my photo with the autumn walk mean:
One morning you smell the autumn; it is not cold yet, it is not windy; it has not changed anything and yet everything
It's a poem from Kurt Tucholsky. I hope you understand my english!
Greetings

I think I had a tulip like this in my garden one year, but I have trouble keeping them going from year to year. Thank you for visiting my blog this week and for your link up. Have a great weekend.
