There are some famous rocks in the south island that attract tourists because of their shape, but this photo was taken in Taranaki at Tongaporutu.

Very cool shot and angle. I love how it seems so many Kiwi words have "Tonga" in them. That scene reminds me of the OR coast. How's the weather out by you?

That boulder looks every bit as interesting as its more famous cousins. And the light you've captured on the beach makes for a wonderful photograph.

There is an otherworldly quality to the beach photo. The large stones look like beasts and the sand looks like low wind rippled through.
