I wanted to share this lipstick flower (Aeschynanthus) that was among seedlings that I
bought just to fill in some spaces in my garden.
It did the job very well, blooming for months and is still blooming now.
From the top, it doesn't impress me with the tiny flowers--I like blooms
big enough to photograph in macro.
But, from another angle, they look like miniature orchids!
I was a bit under the weather this week, so I did this
mosaic of my summer flowers.

Lipstick flower is new to me, do you know its Latin name? The collage of your summer flowers is so colorful and beautiful. Good memories take us through bad days <3

What lovely and astonishing lipstick flowers! Thank you for these beauties, Betty!
The lipstick flowers are very pretty. Yes, they do look like orchids. Hope you are feeling better now. Take care and happy weekend!
...a beautiful riot of color!
The lipstick flower is very cute!
I like a tube bloom to draw in Hummingbirds and some varieties of Sphinx Moth
A lovely greenery
It pays to take a second look at things, and something I forget to do is to turn around and look behind me. Often times, will see a wonderful view that way.
Looks like you got plenty going on in your garden, lots of colour.
Die bunten Blumen in der Collage machen Lust auf gute Laune.

The flower mosaic is so colorful and each individual piece perfect. I would want it on my wall if I were you. (I wonder if that would work, transferring a collage to canvass?)
