This is a pohutukawa tree, also called the New Zealand Christmas tree because it
blooms at Christmastime (in the summer here in New Zealand).

That's sooo pretty and the boats give the tree great perspective. Are the red stains from the red leaves? I think I'd much rather be where you are.
I just wrote a post and then checked here to see if you had started a new link up....imagine my surprise when I saw the new link up is called My Corner of the World and I titled my post My Corner of the World minutes earlier....I guess it's meant to be!
