Wednesday around the World

This is a Stewart Island Robin, only found on Stewart Island at the bottom of New Zealand. We were fortunate to see it when we toured there a while back.

What is going on in your world this week?

I never would have guessed that was a robin, a cute little guy, isn't he? Seems patient enough while you get his picture.

Great shot! Little birds are often hard to photograph as they don't stay still for long!

He looks so sweet and vulnerable. So different than our robins.

How wonderful to see this rare and unique (and adorable) bird!! That would I'm sure be a 'lifer' for serious birders from everywhere. Thank you for the link up as always.
