A sliver of light

Night shots are something that I have been working on and,
when I saw this sliver of the moon, I ran outside like a madwoman
to see if I could capture it.

Not bad, but I will have to keep working on my night photos.

Only my city night photos turn out - haven't gotten a grip yet on the moon! Beautiful subtle as well as sharp!

It amazes me to see how different our moon appears ... given we're living in the Northern Emispehre, to be more precise in Northern Italy, just yesterday evening I found myself wayching at a moon shaped like a boat or a banana, only in late Winter we may see it with this shape !

Thank you for sharing your terrific shots, darling Betty !

Wishing you a most wonderful end of your week

XO Dany

What a coincidence! I took a picture very much like yours which I shared in today's SWF post and another for my WW contribution this week. Excellent capture on yours! Have a great weekend!
