and the carved statue is beautiful! How come it dosnt exist any more?

I believe that several carved tree trunks along the street were only allowed to stay for two years before they were replaced by the district council.

each of the photos is special in itself...the dingo dog painted on the side of the building...the carved logo (very interesting), the giant kiwi...enjoyed your post so very much.

Nice giant carvings, specially the Kiwi, tourists must just love him.
Nice to see another waka, we have one here at Waikawa, sitting at the Marae.
