Nice shot - Is that blooms on the tree? What kind are they?

Sorry, I forgot the label! That is a pohutukawa tree that is usually in full bloom around Christmas time.

Our beautiful NZ Christmas tree!!

My home in Wellington had a huge Pohutakawa tree in it's backyard ... I used to decorate the top of my Christmas cake with it's blooms. :-)

Very nice shot !!

I think they have some of these at the zoo here. They remind me of the bottle brush tree.

Are those blooms or berries on the tree. I'm guessing berries because it's autumn in New Zealand. ;-)
