opunake beach
We went to Opunake Beach today just to get out of the house and, as usual, I took
a jillion photos. I haven't got them all edited (mostly, straightened!) yet but here
are a few to share with you.
It has been quite windy the last few days and the tide was coming in so there
were lots of waves and foam.

opunake beach
Somebody had a great sense of humor and made giant bird prints in the sand.
This is a mama and baby tern. Dad and Mom
took turns feeding him but he still made noise!
I take a lot of photos at the beach but they seem to look alike when I get home.
I always set my camera to take very large photos so I can crop bits of the water
and foam to amuse myself.

Opunake murals
Opunake is a small town in Taranaki with a great beach.
The folks are pretty proud of the town and these are some
of the murals you will see on High Street.
