I don't have room for all these flowers at our house now and got 
nostalgic for those I had at other times.

Interesting to see the Crocosmia. It's one of a limited list of garden flowers that flourish on the outer coast, where I used to live, here on the North Pacific coast of North America. One house got it back in the 80s, and over time it popped up in most of the other yards, owing to its rabid growth in that unfriendly habitat, and its beautiful neon-red blossoms. The hummingbirds in particular adore it.

Before I moved inland I was starting to notice Crocosmia cropping up freelance in neglected corners. I'm guessing from its presence among your own flowers that your climate and soil are similar to ours.
