Looking for sausages, part 2

Eventually, we saw signs for our destination.

And we finally arrived at  BRATWURST BROS in Uriti. They have created a rest stop at
the little store which is in a great spot along SH 3. They sell coffee and a few other
snacks as well as their home-made sausages.

A lovely thing about NZ is that ever little town has a public toilet. Sometimes, it's in a church, sometimes, it's by itself. The one in Awakino is in the Hall where they have their memorial to fallen soldiers.

It's also where the library is located. Apparently, it's just the little room off the entrance to the Hall.

All in all, a relaxing and productive day out.

Thank you for taking us along on this journey. I understand the need for bratwurst as I went to school in Wisconsin, the home of Bratwurst. Beautiful countryside.

It’s fun to have a goal in mind when you set out! A specialty good shop is a good one. You saw and photographed a lot of good stuff (I just read both posts together). Loved learning about the beehives and I suppose the unnamed but similar mounds we see overe here are caused by the same ancient activity. And that crazy multi colored house! …I also liked learning that every town in NZ has a nice public toilet. (Without further comment, I will add that this fact takes on added significance the older we get!). ….I enjoyed the trip! And would Enjoy those brats…as I know you will!

The landscapes are very beautiful but there are a lot of cattle, no?
The grass is green at least in your country.
