Nice, I haven't done that before. Have you tried eating smoked eel though? its kind of a tough meat.

When visiting the Channel Islands off the coast of California, there were Moray Eels which also begged to be fed. They were large and could have a powerful bite.

A few years ago, for some reason, I went through an eel phase and watched and read everything I could about them. Such fascinating creatures and a fascinating life-cycle. Loved seeing this photograph.
