This is the second time that my azalea has blooms this winter--so far--even
after a few days of terrible winds and very cold temperatures!

They're pretty resilient flowers, aren't they? The bud and especially leaves look strong and healthy. Though I've managed to kill them in the summer. Hot and humid here, but it's been worse. Whenever they say it feels like anything in the 90s I'll do my best to go from AC to underground parking to water and back again. I am a hot weather wimp.
I has been hot here...bet our temps would be wonderful if we could squeeze them together and have an average.
Beautiful photo <3 Well, here in Scandinavia we are in the mid summer: green & blooming, although not very warm. But summer it is!
your azalea does have an unusual, wintery, look. Cool to see actually. Still a beauty.
Wonderful blooms, I like this colorful plant.
A super macro of the latest azalea bud! Very cheering sight in winter!
Pretty photo!
Beautiful rendition of this flower - like the leaves o f this one very much!
When living in the condo, the Azalea at my front door started blooming around the New Year, when it's colder and wet in Southern Calif.!
I love everything about your photo - especially capturing that romance that just exudes from flowers!
Brrrr. Your azalea looks so pretty, even in the cold.
Liebe Betty,
Alles Liebe
Heidi
Lovely photo!
Your picture looks like a stained glass window! Beautiful. Odd weather for sure, but if I were you I too would be enjoying every minute of it.
Like the lovely images. Rewarding effort to capture the changing stages of moon sighting.
Lovely capture. I like composition, background and colours. Thank you for hosting.
The detail of the leaves is really eye-catching!
Not much blooming in my area since the cold set in.
