more scenes from a train

A few more photos that Hubby took on the train from Picton to Christchurch.

I love this hammock with the roof.

What a beautiful set of photos from a glorious place. One day I might get across the Tasman and visit. Denyse

Love your rural views. Sorry it has taken me so long to come back to you, I had not forgotten.
Those massed lupins were on the road from Waneka to Timaru, on the Tarras to Cromwel road. They would have been even better in the second week of Dec. Hope you get to enjoy then next year.

Oh I love these roadtrip pictures -- what a wonderful country you live in for a roadtrip!! Beautiful scenery, little bits of quirkiness -- what's not to love. (And I want that hammock!)

You like the hammock with the roof and I like the camper next to it. I want one like that!

I like the view of the hillside and tunnel from the train. It would be fun to go exploring and look at the vegetation there where it looks wild. The hammock under a roof is very amusing, Betty!
