churches along the way

These are a few of the churches that Hubby and I saw on our holidays as we traveled along. I can't tell you where any of them are located.

Hi Betty, I know some of these churches as well. We pass them as we are heading to Central Otago. Some of them I have never seen before. They are all different and interesting.

My favourite is the red church

A nice and varied selection. The church of white painted wooden slats could be the site of a fire and brimstone experience in Scotland. The little red Methodist chapel could be in Wales. But these days it'd likely be a souvenir shop or a cafe. And the lovely church at bottom right might be found in a Cheshire village. In such a building you'll find ladies knitting groups and cups of tea.

Hi Betty. Isn't it funny, I was looking at your photo and trying to work out where I'd seen it - oh dear :)

I have so many photos like this too. I never thought about blogging them because I didn't know where they were taken. I love that you did this creative post - and i love all the cute churches in New Zealand.
