Kai Iwi Stream

This scene was totally different when we were here a few years ago. The bridge was in pieces at that time and the stream had a different path. Now the new bridge gives you access across the swimming hole that has been created.

Oh how I wish I lived close to the ocean and what is it about being able to ride a horse on a sandy beach that seems so perfect... Thank you for linking in Bettyl... Michelle

These are all very beaitful views and images. I wonder why there are so many dead trees on the beach.

I don't know if I've mentioned this but there is a place up past Dargaville called Kai Iwi Lakes, fresh water lakes, great for diving, snorkeling and catching trout, great holiday spot.
