If you want a place to sip a cuppa or just have a laugh at the decor, this is the place, Bugger Cafe in Pipiroa. According to their webpage, the name was picked simply because you would remember it. And the service is great, too!
Oddly named cafe. Love the sign with the old International Harvester (IH) tractor. Believe it is a Super C. It it runs as well as it looks it should be used as a utility tractor rather than a sign,
awesome coffee. i think i should visit this place. we found a coffee cafe around here in VA that was in a contest & i wonder how they did? it is amazing that is a contest and folks go to so much trouble. but fun to watch. have a great week. big big hugs. enjoy! ( :

Very beautiful photos of Café Pipiroa (what a funny name!). You have a good eye for photography, Betty.
Ha ha, gotta laugh at the name, and the little sign on the step. Loving seeing NZ through your eyes.

Not a name I would have chosen but the coffee looks good.

An Antipodean adjective with many 'colourations'!!! Love the red tractor... YAM xx
OK the name is wildly inappropriate (slang term here for something unprintable in a family blog), but that latte looks amazing.

I love the name, so colloquial. It looks like a neat place to stop for a break.

Nice to see a place with a sense of humour. Hmmm that coffee looks delish.
My big brother babysat my second bro's son. My second SIL complained the kid kept saying bugger after he came back.
