driving unfamiliar roads

I just love wandering around the backroads, as I'm sure you've noticed! I get to see interesting and different things. For example, I mostly see pine trees, so autumn colors and bare tree limbs are a novelty for me.

I got excited to see some wild goats on the hillsides and Hubby helped
me photograph them all!
(As we drove, we saw so many that I stopped taking so many photos of them!)

At the bottom of the hill, I noticed this lone cow watching us taking photos.
I think it thought it was hiding :)

More photos to come.

I always love your back-roads expeditions. There's always so much of interest away from life's main highways.

The narrow passage and the small hut I like very well!

Same here! I love back-roads too, that's why I am not very fond of GPS. Love seeing photos from your back-road excursions. The cow that is hiding made me smile, that would be me too :)

I love the rambling drives better than about anything. I seldom get to do them now....and miss them so bad.
