While we were in the South Island, we visited Steampunk HQ in Oamaru, a weird and fun place!

What a weird and wonderful place. Great photos of these sculptures. (I am just assuming the flies are sculptures and not giant insects.

The Steampunk HQ looks very eclectic. I guess I would expect nothing less from steampunk.

Wow -- that is something. I only learned what steampunk was a couple of yers ago when I posted a picture of a horse sculpture made out of motor parts and wires and stuff and somebody commented that it was 'very steampunk'.... I had to go Google to find out about it.
