These are some scenes from the South Island that I thought I'd share.
I am always happily surprised by the formations of the land.

Fabulous landscape shots. I am delighted to see photographs of the South Island because when I went to New Zealand I only saw the North Island and was all sorry I have not travelled to see the South island

Amazing photos -- the geology of the area perfectly caught through lens. I wish I knew everything about geology to decipher all these amazing structures.

I love rocks and roads - maybe because I've been so much on them! Also a great capture of the lake! But my favorite is your third capture, with all the textures and crevices of the rocks.

Have a great weekend Betty, oh and a gentle reminder to link up at ALL SEASON between Sunday and Wednesday eve.

I love that sentence. Pure poetry.
And I so feel the same way.
Your pictues are a real treat to my eyes.
Thank you for putting them up for us to see the beauty of your country.
