the beginning of the garden

I am so excited about the first spring colors in my own front yard (garden, to you that speak Brit)! I didn't plant daffodils, so they were a huge surprise!

There are lots of tulips getting ready to show their color along with irises.

Is there anything better than the first spring flowers?

you know you have good karma when daffodils appear by magic. My flower karma is so poor I haven't seen my favorite flower bloom since we were in Alaska two summers ago. (our own fault I know, because they don't bloom in Florida where we spend most springs). Can't have everything in real life, but I can virtually! Thanks for sharing these wonderful images.
