Since these little ones live on a pond next to a primary school, I thought they'd be afraid of people with so many kids around. But, nope, they weren't afraid at all as Hubby dropped bread pieces between his boots and they scurried in to eat.

The last house we rented had a goldfish pond. 

Our second spring there saw over 80 wild ducklings from 14 different broods.

It was a great experience to watch, but a mess to keep clean.  A few more pictures are here.

I haven't taken any photos lately, with moving and the holidays, so I thought I'd post some of my all-time favorite photos. Be glad I have limited them to these few--Hubby tells me we are closing in on 15,000 on the external hard-drive that was bought just to hold my our photos.
